African management practices have followed western theories in the past century. However, African organisations have not been fully acculturated into the western management style. There is a need to appreciate the African dynamics and management should be reframed based on African theories. Knowledge-based African management requires establishing parameters that address employee behaviour relevant to the society it serves and built on African ethical principles to solve community problems.en_US
