Both undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programmes in Ugandan universities have very limited emphasis on positive psychology concepts. Some applications are apparent in HIV/AIDS and disability counseling issues. Other practice areas with use of positive psychology concepts include the counseling of war victims, orphans and street children.
