dc.description.abstractProf. Eli Katunguka, the Kyambogo UniversityVice Chancellor has asked Ministry of Finance Planning and Economic Development to stop cutting capital development budgets for higher institutions of learning because it is from these funds that these institutions use to develop infrastructure, which create a good learning environment for students. The Vice Chancellor continued to assert that this money is generated by students to develop a conducive environment for their learning and therefore the Ministry shouldn’t make it a priority to cut these funds every time they are looking for areas to cut. The Professor said during the handover of the new gate to Kyambogo University from Carl Investments Ltd. He continued to say that the new gate has changed the face of Kyambogo University from the old dilapidated, ramshackled structures to a new Kyambogoen_US
