It is that time of the year once again and ITEK is all out to harvest what was sown many years ago. When one goes out to sow it is the best seed that one selects and takes to the prepared ground. Similarly, ITEK endeavours to give the best there is to her students. ITEK prepares the ground and indeed ITEK sows the seed. We are responsible for teacher education at all levels. If the primary school teacher is poorly trained ITEK is answerable, if it is the Grade V teacher it is the same thing and so is a graduate teacher. When these teachers are successful it is our pride. When a primary school teacher is trained, the process prepares a foundation for train ing a grade five teacher which in turn forms the basis for training a university graduate teacher.en_US
